Pharaonic period
Luxor & Karnak Temples, Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Queens, Valley of the Nobles, Valley of the Artisans, Terrace Temple of Queen Hatshepsut in Deir el Bahary, Medinet Habu, Deir El Madina and the Memnon Colossi. North of Luxor there are the temples of Dendarah and Abydos. South of Luxor Chnoum Temple in Esna and the Temple of Horus in Edfu.

Luxor is the world's greatest outdoor museum, filled with awe-inspiring monuments of ancient civilization. Nevertheless, nowadays Luxor features many 'modern' spots for the interested visitor such as: A tour through the countryside or the city's bazaar either by bicycles or the horse-drawn carriages (caleche), a felucca sail on the River Nile to Banana Island, a sunset cruise for high tea or see the city from a hot-air balloon.

The city's many museum (for instance the Luxor Museum and the Mummification Museum) are opening at nighttime and the world famous Sound and Light Show at Karnak Temple is a must!

Sports and wellness in Luxor
Most of the hotels recommended by Spring Tours offer various activities such as tennis courts or squash boxes, a swimming pool, bicycles for hire and even a jogging path.
